Synchronicity

May 26, 2011

I don’t think I already mentioned this weird kindergarten synchronicity. There are a few parents and kids who I inevitably meet almost every morning as I take the girls to kindergarten. We all come and go in a span of about ten minutes, usually little after eight. Now this would be as normal as the courtesy greetings and head bobs we exchange – the time coordination of complete strangers whose only connection is the whim of a bureaucratic hand that put our children into the same local kindergarten, easily explainable with our working hours. BUt the funny thing is that even on the days we arrive quite earlier than usual, or on the few occasions that we fall asleep and rush in at half past nine, we would normally bump into the same parents and kids. Now that’s a weird synchronicity.
