    I think the strange colours of polaroid are a good match for how unreliable memories are.

    Transient and inacurate.

    Yes I did and for another interesting movie involving photography, have you seen “Proof”?

      Actually, I did – it is not amongst the most popular films on photography but makes several really relevant points on meaning and images. I even screen it regularly in my vis. culture class – and tie it with some of postmodern theory of photography. The drive-in movie scene is always fun to watch :)
      Part of Memento can be read in the same way as Proof, i.e. image-caption relationship and meaning fluidity.
