Blue blue sky

Slovenia is a place of limited horizons in many ways and one could probably argue that it all starts with the physical world. Sometimes I long for the feeling of empty horizon and endlessness of the sky above that I remember so well from the States. But there are some days – like yesterday – when, if you are wicked enough, you can trick yourself into such endless horizon illusion.

The downside of the blue sky is that these days the Stieglitz-like meditations on equivalents are often interrupted by need for wordly errands (removing sensor dust).

Funny how we always seem to want the opposite of what we have.

As a person who comes from a place that has almost nothing but wide open space, I’m envious of the culturaly dense enviroments that you Europeans live in.
