Size matters

February 24, 2009

Size matters. Small is beautiful. Sometimes. Most of the times you could hear me nagging about the size of the country I live in. Being roughly the size of New Jersey or Massachusetts and a population less than that of Bronx, Slovenia tends to be stuffy in and limiting in many ways. But on a grey and foggy day, an hour drive will get us to the coast where one can warm up in the sun, inhale the crystals of salt that fill the air and get all wet as Tamara entertains herself by throwing stones almost the size of her head into the water. Was really fun, more pic s to follow.

Click here to see a “finger kika” version of the image above. We did our point-and-shoot routine (daddy points, kiddo shoots + smudges the lens).

I’m jealous, jealous, jealous, and have I mentioned jealous?

That’s it. Get the guest bedroom ready. We’re coming over.

Action Girl and I have been pining for a trip for ages and miss Europe deeply. It looks absolutely beautiful. I can’t wait for the spring to come so we can at least get out and enjoy our own patch of the world.
