Exercise in lines

Just a little photo I took last week from the train, toying a bit with parallels and verticals. For the uninitiated, the structure protruding the fog is a hayrack (kozolec), an ethnographical specialtyof the country mostly used for drying hay.

This is a very sharp. Moody, geometrical, and urbane. You must have used a fast shutter speed?

Thanks Jeffrey – I see now that the phrasing might have been a bit misleading. I took the photo just as the train started moving from the station (was waiting for the verticals to be in line) so the speed was not an issue.

It’s a great shot. Very minimalist. I think it could be improved by adjusting the levels. If you like, E-mail a copy to me and I’ll show you what I mean.
