Barcelona in blue

December 1, 2008

Today, the rainy sky has decided to drown the already bowed snowmen that sprung up from the first snow while I was gone. As a contrast to this dark greyness, I give you Bluecelona (Barcelona in blue).
ECREA conference went well and our panel was charming (at least that’s what we heard). Though the mission of impressing the scientific community was of secondary importance. Our primary goal was to hang out with the great crowd from last year’s PhD student’s summer school. Lots of people came and it was nice to see how our unexpected friendships from year and a half ago were still strong. Meeting the Suso people was also one of the reasons why we spent quite a lot of time at the conference and did very little day time Barcelona siteseeing. Which was fine by me, since CC and I toured the city a few years back.

I’m enjoying your various colour series.

Next year I’m hoping to revisit Spain, and Park Guel is one of the places I want to go to when I’m there.
