Or is it perhaps the other way around? From morning walk in downtown Ljubljana. In the evening, my thesis advisor taught Tamara her first English word. It was monkey.

    I love the top shot. I think that placing the subject in a context makes an image so much stronger. It’s not longer a photo of just a glass and cup; it is also a record of a place in time.

    Agree, I was trying to capture the atmosphere, my contemplative morning coffee + people watching from behind a semi transparent window of the cafe, and the uncertainty about just how much the people outside were able to return my gaze.

    It’s a place I go for the gastronomy of the eye, not gastronomy of taste :)
