Last Monday, I finally submitted draft version of my PhD. Have been moving tons of papers and books back to office and library ever since (to put things into perspective, the bloody thing ends with 18 pgs of references or 484 units of literature).

Nice Hockney reference. I love how that style of photography can show time passing, as in Hockney’s “Scrabble game”.
Now that you’ve submitted your thesis and Cashmere Cafe has given birth, perhaps you could get onto the really important things in life….. and post some more ;-)
Comment by razzbuffnik October 13, 2009 @ 1:38 pmI like the style – to me, it is so close to the way I observe and remember things – as fragments that make up a whole – which is somewhat larger than the sum of its constituent parts (even though not all are counted in).
