Tamara is funnier every day. In the beginning, we used to call her principessa (i.e. princess) but way before she turned one it became pretty obvious that we would need to come up with another way to call her. She is many things but your regular princess she is not :) Well at least not the one from the tales they used to read to me. Though obviously, some of the princess-talk has caught on – this is the shortened version of the conversation we had on the way from her nanny:
“Tamara, are you mommy’s little girl?”
“No!”
“Hmm, well what are you then, mommy’s heart?”
“No!”
“How about… a little frog?” (in Slovene, this is actually a sweet phrase)
“No.”
Twelve questions later…
“All right Tamara, what are you then?”
“Castle!”
“You are mommy’s castle?”
“Yes!”
“A castle?”
“YES!”
There you go. It looks like someone was practicing for Tuscany. Have fun, we’ll be back in a week. Linocut stamp is for my project that I’ll show you when we return.
