There are some advantages to living in small towns – I managed to renew my driving license in five minutes, plus with really friendly service. As I went to check something for Edirisa, I noticed that the guy in Room 11 handled a weird combination of tasks. The three areas he covers are registration of weapons, events and associations. Hmmm.
The odd looking pic is on how to achieve Holga effects without Holga when you are a bit bored by shooting through Tamara’s bottle cap. I actually quite like the dreamy effect though it’s actually not very easy to replicate, particularly with auto focus switched on. Here is one of the less failed attempts. I think I’ll still go for a proper Holga lens for EOS.

Well, the first snowflakes of the winter were a bit shy but there were enough of them to make a puffy coating on the ground that Tamara could inspect in puzzled amazement. But they were nothing compared to the lights we put on the window. This pic would really deserve a sound bite of her loud enthusiasm but… The little one is obviously enjoying the nationwide attention being paid to her upcoming birthday:) And while the first Christmas trees already sprung-up in the windows of surrounding apartment buildings, we still haven’t quite figured out where we are going to put ours so that Tamara won’t be able to pull it down. We’ll have to think fast.
